On Tues Jan 17th Mighty Mystic announced that his sophomore album titled "Concrete World" is just about complete. Mystic says the album is in its mixing and mastering stages and will be landing in store and online in late April. The album boasts a whopping 15+ tracks with something geared towards all reggae lovers. There has also been a Pre-released single off of the album titled "Lamb or Lion" which Mystic says is a teaser to get his fans ready for what's to come on the full length album. This coming October Mighty Mystic will take a small hiatus from touring to get back in the studio to work on his untitled sophomore album. Mystic says he plans to be recording and compiling material for the album for approximately a month and a half. After that you can be on the look out for new music from Mighty Mystic. Its official Mighty Mystic and crew will begin shooting the video for his next single titled "Original Love" feat Stephen Thunder. The storyline for the video is something Mystic says he wants to keep hush hush. But did say it is something inspirational and the premis of the video wont be revealed untill the very last scene of the video. The crew will begin shooting fri Aug 5 and plan on being finilazed by Sept 6th 2011. The film is being shot by Mike Cip of Split2nd Ent, you might remember him as one of the producer on Mystic "Wake up the World" Album. On Weds June 29th Mighty Mystic and the Thunder Band hit the road, there destination, Lupos in Providence Rhode Island. While on the road the band experienced what they would call "Traffic from Hell" lol. though the traffic was bad it didn't hinder the progress...When the crew arrived in Providence they immediately began to walk the downtown area checking out the local shops and inviting potential fans to there with show Steel Pulse later that night. As show time drew closer you could feel the energy of the over 1200+ fans in the building. Mighty Mystic hit the stage to a great response. It seemed as if both Mystic and the crowd was feeding off each others energy which caused for an even more exciting and spontaneous performance. After the show Mystic and crew said "the Providence reggae fans were wonderful and that this was definitely a concert we wont forget."
The summer is already heating up with the announcement that Mighty Mystic and Dark Cloud's 3rd Degree (3rddy Baby) have joined forces to record a song designed to have you rocking throughout the summer. The song is titled "Let you Go" and is produced by Lu Balz. The song is set for global release this July 2011. The duo says they plan on doing a video in support of their new song so please be on the lookout for it.
Pop superstar Rihanna has released her contraversal song/video titled "MAN DOWN". In her song Rihanna says that she has just "Shot her man down" because he was "taking her for a fool". With that being said it left the door open for a answer back or a male side of the story. So who better to do it than Mighty Mystic. Mystic's answer back is titled "Out of Control" in his song he says the reason Rihanna shot him down is because she become jealous of him going out and turned into a viscous stalker. Mystic's song adds humor while presenting the serious side of the subject matter. "Out of Control" is picking up some major support on Radio and is a favorite mix amongst the DJ community. However you slice it the two songs are a great compliment for each other.
On June 16, Mighty Mystic and the Thunder Band will be the entertainment for the 10th Annual Reggae Ramble & Caribbean Music Festival taking place on the Charles River. This event is apart of the 4.4 mile run and walk along the Charles River to benefit non-profit organizations across the greater MA area. After the run is over the festivities will begin. The night will be filled with a large array of Caribbean food, art and musical entertainment by the Mighty Mystic.

Mighty Mystic will be returning to Maine after his sold out concert this past January at the Port City Music Hall in Portland ME. This time around, Mystic will be playing at the Prestigious Boothbay Opera House in Boothbay Maine. "I Alone" is not just a Music Video but a movie in a video. The video opens up with a question, "What would you do if someone took the life of the one you loved? It then depicts Mighty Mystic as a family man who's life is altered after two criminals break into his house, kills his wife and kill Mystic as well, or so they thought... Mystic awakes in the hospital from being in a coma and gets the news of his wife's death. The news changes Mystic, fills his heart with anger and sets of a series revenge tactics worthy of being a big screen movie. And that's just part of the story. One thing is certain, this video is jammed packed with action, excitement and a roller coaster filled with emotions. The Snow Fest: The 22nd Annual Sugarloaf Reggae FestivalAfter a series of stellar performance's Mighty Mystic and The "Strings of Thunder" Band kept the great Reggae vibes flowing at the 22nd Annual Sugarloaf Reggae Festival on Saturday, April 16, 2010. Mighty Mystic Headlined the out door segment of the Festival and did a second performance indoor alongside Kenyada Hill. Both shows were dynamic and filled with several thousands Skier's and Reggae Fans alike. Mighty Mystic kept the outdoor stage rocking for over two hours despite the falling snow. Mystic said "It was a first for me performing in the snow but it was something refreshing and made for lasting memories". The 2nd show which was indoors was just as wonderful, the crowd was energetic and Mystic feed off the energy. Mighty Mystic was grateful for the experience and hopes to return for a future play at the Sugarloaf Reggae Festival.
